Tunes are going through my head today and here’s why.
By the time most Americans pay their taxes and the interest on their bills it leaves them with less than $20,000 to live on.
Years ago John Folgarty astutely penned these words:
“Long as I remember rain’s been comin’ down
Clouds of mystery pourin’ confusion on the ground
Good men through the ages tryin’ to find the sun
And I wonder, still I wonder who’ll stop the rain?”
With 59.7% of Americans’ income going to pay taxes[i] today, the rain’s still comin’ down.
Add to this the interest due on all the bills for the average household and it’s a mess that is financially crippling millions.
A recent Federal Reserve survey shows that 1 out of 5 people age 55 to 64 have no retirement savings.[ii] But putting age ranges aside, most Americans adults won’t be ready for retirement regardless[iii] of what they do traditionally.
You are in a privileged position to understand the power of The Perpetual Wealth Code.™ This week share this video link (McFieInsurance.com/info) with your friends and family. Who knows, you just might prevent them from becoming one of these horrible statistics. And they’ll be able to sing a different tune.
The responsibility to share the truth to help those who don’t know it is a grave responsibility. If by sharing, you help them to keep just part of the interest and taxes they are now throwing away, you will help them have a healthier, wealthier and more productive life.
Take a moment and pass this link on to 5 or 10 people that you know today. Many will thank you for it.
Check out these lyrics to a song by Switchfoot and you can listen to it here http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AJHvdInvrbA.
“When success is equated with excess
The ambition for excess wrecks us
As top of the mind becomes the bottom line
When success is equated with excess.
Like a puppet on a monetary string
Maybe we’ve been caught singing
Red, white, blue, and green
But that ain’t my America,
That ain’t my American dream.”
Blessings,
– Tom McFie
